VarData founder Jeff Coke chose the team of Sarah Rolph and Kerrie Kennedy to create a web presence as friendly and professional as his firm. VarData is a small but fast-growing value-added reseller of data, voice, and storage networks in Rochester, New York. For the VarData website, strong visual images were paired with clear statements about the firm’s benefits, creating a confident look and feel in keeping with the firm’s corporate culture. Quotes from VarData customers were used to showcase the firm’s attention to service and to provide credibility. “Sarah and Kerrie understood what I wanted and delivered professional results, on time, meeting my expectations,” says Jeff. “They made it very easy to do business, making efficient use of my time.”
Artafact has been working with Sarah for years, since its founding in 2002. The firm is a leading provider of online focus groups and is pioneering the use of social networking tools for market research. When Artafact was first looking to get noticed for its innovative ideas, founder and CEO Linda Stegeman asked Sarah to create a thoughtful article for publication in Quirk’s Market Research Review. The article served several functions: it was seen by thousands of prospects in the printed magazine, posted on the Artafact website to provide current, in-depth content, and the reprint was used for sales support—as a handout, leave-behind, and mailer. Sarah creates new articles for Artafact when opportunities arise, such as this piece that played off a much-publicized opinion. Linda also chose Sarah and design partner Kerrie Kennedy to create the Artafact website. Kerrie created a strong visual identity for the firm, which carries through to its print materials and its trade-show display. As the firm grows, the content of the website evolves.
The Technology Professional Services Association (TPSA) is the first organization of its kind. Service professionals in technology firms are neither fish nor fowl—they don’t fully fit into the business models for either product or pure-services companies. TPSA provides these forgotten professionals with ground-breaking industry research and thoughtful guidance. To help TPSA spread the word about the value of its services, Sarah conceived and wrote a series of member profiles. By capturing the specifics of each member’s story, the benefits of belonging to TPSA are brought to life.
Invoke Solutions online research software is different from every other product on the market. For an in-depth explanation of their offering, the firm chose Sarah Rolph to write a meaty white paper. To ensure that the white paper would support the firm’s sales message while also providing the necessary technical detail, Sarah interviewed three key Invoke executives. The resulting white paper has been in use for several years and has been well received by the firm’s prospects.
Triton Technology holds a strong position in a direct-marketing niche. The firm was bootstrapped just a few years ago, and through careful thinking and superior business practices, has risen to the level of its strongest competitors. Once it was ready for prime time, the firm turned to Sarah and her graphic design partner, Kerrie Kennedy, for a new look. The clean, professional look and feel of the new Triton website reflects the new status of the new Triton.
